The Liberal Talking Points on SCOTUS

After watching Joe Biden and Ralph Neas on Face the Nation, these appear to be the three main talking points liberals will use to justify a filibuster:
  1. 1 in 5 justices sent up by presidents are rejected by the Senate (Is it true? Who knows? It will be a frequent soundbite, though)...
  2. We can filibuster even the recently approved judicial compromise justices because appeals court judges are subject to stare decisis and the Supreme Court is not...
  3. It's the President's obligation to send up a consensus candidate under the 'advise and consent' clause (most decidedly not true, but that won't keep it from being a soundbite).
There are your talking points; now, for bonus points, look for one, two, or all three whenever a prominent Democrat weighs in on SCOTUS...
