The One Hundredth Anniversary Of The Beginning of Uncertainty

Excellent Brian Greene op-ed in the NY Times regarding the 100th anniversary of the annum mirabilis; highly recommended. Brownian motion, spooky action at a distance, E=m(c(squared)) - notice how I got around the lack of a superscript - all the craziness of the unbelievable but apparently quite true quantum universe started, for all intents and purposes, a century ago with the publication of four papers, any one of which would have made the reputation of the man who wrote it for the ages.
