Americans For Freedom, it is now confirmed that
Jim Jeffords will not be trying to retain his seat in 2006. Interesting...among other reasons, he's apparently suffering from ill health, as is his wife...Jeffords, of course, is the Independent who switched from Republican and threw the Senate to effective Democratic rule a few years back...
