Some Honest-To-God 2008 Election News!

Ken Mehlman, brilliant Republican strategist and subject of vicious Leftist innuendo, has laid out eight possible candidates for the 2008 Republican nomination in an interview with the Washington Times editorial board: Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Virginia Sen. George Allen, Colorado Gov. Bill Owens, Arizona Sen. John McCain, Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, George Pataki, Rudy Giuliani, and Jeb Bush (hat tip to Jayson at PoliPundit).

I've got some work to do this weekend on those candidate profiles...no mention of Cheney (no surprise there), so I'm knocking his odds down to 50-1.
